On the evening of October 8, 2022, Mr. Zhang, a new employee of a Chinese funded enterprise, entered Guinea and stayed in the hotel. At midnight, Mr. Zhang wanted to report peace with his family in China, but he had no local phone card, so he went out to buy a card. Because he did not know the local environment and route, he got lost and could not return to the hotel, so he found a motorcycle and tried to find the hotel through mobile phone photos. Because of the language barrier, the motorcycle driver sent him back to Conakry Airport, but the police took him to the immigration office at the airport to ask about the situation. The immigration office could not confirm his identity and temporarily detained him. Until the afternoon of October 10, 2022, no one came to claim it, so they called the Chinese Embassy in Guinea to inform the situation. The staff of the embassy then contacted our office in Guinea by telephone to assist the embassy in going to the airport to learn about the situation. Our country manager in Guinea, Ren Zhipeng, arrived at the airport at the first time. After coordinating and verifying the situation, he went through the formalities and successfully led Mr. Zhang out of the immigration office and safely escorted him back to his hotel. Our office in Guinea has been providing security services for Chinese enterprises in Guinea for a long time, actively fulfilling their social responsibilities, and participated in various public welfare activities such as the distribution of epidemic prevention materials launched by the embassy and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for many times during the epidemic, demonstrating the determination and confidence of our employees in fulfilling their social responsibilities, and demonstrating the professionalism of China Shipping in providing global localized security and the corporate values of fulfilling their social responsibilities to ensure the safety of Chinese. |
